Job Description

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their queries.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
  • Receive and unload merchandise shipments, checking them for accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting stock counts, replenishing shelves, and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding security, safety, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in periodic stocktaking and reporting inventory levels to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
