What this opportunity involves:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and working closely with the Business Development Director (BDD), the Marketing Executive will be responsible for the planning, execution and optimisation of all marketing efforts. The purpose of the role is to increase awareness of the business across the Middle East region, by creating engaging content that effectively reaches our target audience to start great conversations and generate new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the approved marketing plan, to ensure that all activities are effectively delivered and that any marketing opportunities are explored.
  • Work with the approved marketing budget and make recommendations on how to maximise marketing investment and resource.
  • Optimise the performance of all marketing channels to meet business goals. Channels include: website, Google (SEO/SEM), social media, PR, print and digital collateral, CRM, internal events, third party events and exhibitions.
  • Utilise a range of marketing tools and software to create engaging content in a variety of formats: infographics, imagery (photos, illustrations and vectors), videos, webinars and podcasts.
  • Write short and long copy that is fit for purpose including: feature articles, editorial, press releases, social media posts, emails and newsletters, website pages and blogs, brochures and presentations.
  • Build and deploy targeted email campaigns using Mailchimp or other CRM platform to reach audiences such as contacts, clients, prospects and media. Content can include: press releases, company updates, newsletters, surveys and event invitations etc.
  • Proactively manage all social media accounts to increase community engagement and overall performance to meet business goals and maintain a social media content calendar that is approved quarterly in advance.
  • Maintain the company website to ensure it is always up to date with new services, staff, projects, news articles etc. and ensure that it is optimised for ongoing improved performance.
  • Liaise with all teams across the region to understand the latest business updates to share internally and externally where appropriate.
  • Manage internal communication to enhance employee engagement, using the company WhatsApp group. Featured content can include marketing initiatives and results, company updates (people, projects and places) and general industry news.
  • Using the tools available, analyse the performance of all marketing activity. For example, attendance at events, media coverage, website/Google performance, social media engagement etc. and share monthly reports with the COO and BDD.
  • Organise various marketing events, including invitation design and issue, stakeholder management, event collateral, bookings and negotiations, attendee follow up post event.
  • Undertake competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for marketing activity improvement.
  • Brand management to ensure that all physical and digital marketing collateral is up to date and meets brand and style guidelines from safety gear to business stationery and third party websites.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices for all marketing activity from design to performance analysis and reporting.
  • Provide a weekly update of all marketing activities through a marketing to-do list, reporting progress, completion and current status.
  • Manage external relationships with business partners and vendors such as hotels, media owners, agencies and production companies.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required by the COO according to the latest business priorities.

Requirements:

  • Currently living in the UAE and worked in the GCC previously.
  • Degree in marketing, media, communications or similar subject.
  • Minimum of five years experience in B2B marketing roles.
  • Exceptional English language, both verbal and written (native/fluent).
  • Skilled in writing copy for a variety of marketing communication channels, to include detailed copy, headlines, captions and taglines.
  • Proven experience using marketing design tools and software e.g. Canva, lnDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Extensive experience using a variety of marketing tools for content creation and performance analysis e.g. content management systems (Wix), CRM platforms (HubSpot and Mailchimp) and Google Analytics.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing digital plans, budgets and campaigns.
  • Strong technical understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Passion for marketing and focused on delivering results and positive marketing ROI.
  • Creative thinking for idea generation and a flair for design.
  • Solid work ethic and a natural team player who can work independently.
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word.

Salary: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
